SBC Visakhapatnam Selection Process 2026

The selection process for all posts is given below:

Step 1 – CBT (Computer Based Test):

• There will be Online Computer Based (CBT) Test for all posts (CA’A’, CH, FED, CMTD).

• Questions will be in Hindi and English (bilingual), except General English.

• Total time: 120 minutes.

Step 2 – Endurance/Skill Test (Only for FED and CMTD):

• FED(OG): Shortlisting will be done on the basis of CBT merit in the ratio of 1:15 and there will be Endurance Test (100 meter run with bucket of sand and water, 20 squats, 15 push-ups, 15 bent-knee sit-ups) and Skill Test (Driving, Motor Mechanism, Changing Tyre, etc.).

• CMTD(OG): There will be only skill test (Driving, Road Rules, Vehicle Inspection etc.). There is no endurance test in this.

• CA’A’ and CH: There will be no skill/endurance test for these posts. Merit will be made on the basis of CBT marks only.

• The skill/endurance test will be of qualifying nature. Final merit will be made only on CBT marks.
