According to the notification, under this LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2026, 112 divisional offices of LIC will select 120-120 students. Of these, 80 students will be selected for General Scholarship (after 12th) and 40 students will be selected for Special Scholarship (after 10th). In this way, this scholarship will be given to a total of 8,960 students for General Scholarship and 4,480 students for Special Scholarship in the entire country. Students studying through Correspondence, Part-Time, Evening/Night Classes and Open University are not eligible.
- This scholarship is not for those pursuing post-graduation studies. But if you are doing Integrated Courses, then they are eligible.

Students of self study courses like CA, CS, CMA are not eligible.

Students who are taking scholarship from any other trust/institution are not eligible. (Those taking government scholarship are eligible)

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Selection Process 2026
The selection process for this scholarship will be completed in the following stages:

Step 1 – Online Application: First of all students have to submit online application on LIC website.

Step 2 – Preliminary Assessment: The concerned divisional office will scrutinize the applications.

Step 3 – Document Submission: Students who pass the preliminary assessment will be contacted to submit documents.

Step 4 – Final Selection: The final list will be prepared on the basis of merit.

Step 5 – Scholarship Payment: The amount will be sent to the bank account of selected students through NEFT.

Selection will be based on the percentage obtained in 10th/12th.

In case of a tie, the student whose parents’ income is lower will get preference.

Still, in case of tie, the decision will be taken on the basis of financial evaluation report of LIC officials.
