Driver Post Selection Process

Shortlisting: Considering the number of applications, the High Court may decide any suitable shortlisting criteria.

Practical Test-cum-Interview: Provisionally qualified candidates will be called for Practical Test-cum-Interview. Selection will be completely based on this performance.

Trial Period: Selected candidates will have to work for a trial period, after successful completion of which appointment will be given.
Fresh Post Selection Process

Step 1 – Interview: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Interview. The interview will be of total 50 marks (25 marks Suitability to the Job + 25 marks Etiquettes/Manners).

Step 2 – Physical Endurance Test (PET): On the basis of merit in interview, candidates 4 times the number of advertised vacancies will be called for PET. PET will be of qualifying nature only.

3 events in PET: PET includes 800 meter race, long jump and high jump. Candidates are required to clear all the events of PET.

Final Merit: The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of interview marks among those who pass PET.
