Bharat Sarkar Free Coaching Scheme 2026: Notification Details
If you come from a financially weak family and are not able to pay the fees for coaching for competitive exams, then Bharat Sarkar Free Coaching Yojana 2026 can be a good scheme for you. The benefit of this scheme is being given only to SC, OBC and PM CARES Children Scheme beneficiary students. Under this scheme, if you are taking coaching for exams like UPSC, SSC, Railway, Banking, JEE, NEET, CLAT, NDA, but are not able to pay the fees, then your fees will be paid by the government and you will also get a stipend.
Let us tell you that this scheme is run by Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF), which runs coaching centers in many Central Universities across the country. These coaching centers were founded by Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence (DACE). Every year a total of 3500 students are selected under this scheme. In this, the ratio of SC and OBC is kept at 70:30 and 30% seats in each category are reserved for girls. Beneficiaries of PM CARES Children Scheme are given direct admission without merit list. Bharat Sarkar Free Coaching Scheme 2026: Stipend & Incentive
Note: The entire amount is sent to the students’ Aadhaar linked bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Fees and stipend are released in two installments, the first at the commencement of the course and the second after completion of 75% of the course.

Bharat Sarkar Free Coaching Scheme 2026: Selection Process
In this scheme, students are selected on the basis of merit.

First of all the concerned Central University invites applications.

SC and OBC students are selected on the basis of their 10th/12th/Graduation merit.

A maximum of 100 students are selected in each Central University (except PM CARES beneficiaries).

The ratio of SC:OBC is kept at 70:30. The number of SC students cannot be less than 50% in any case.

30% seats in each category are reserved for women candidates.

No merit list is prepared for the beneficiaries of PM CARES Children Scheme. They can get direct entry.

- For OTR you have to National Scholarship Portal (NSP) will have to go to its website. On the home page itself, you will find the option of ‘Apply Now’ below ‘Get your OTR’, click on it.

Now a new page will open, where you will have to do OTP verification by entering your Aadhaar number. For this your mobile number should be linked to Aadhaar.
- By entering your Aadhaar number, you can create your OTR. For this, your PC should have a webcam. You can do it in an easy way through your mobile.

No, no merit list is prepared for the beneficiaries of PM CARES Children Scheme. All eligible beneficiaries can directly get admission in the respective Central University, irrespective of the limit of 100 seats.
Can a student avail the benefit of this scheme multiple times?
No, a student can avail the benefit of this scheme only maximum of 2 times. Also, if he is taking benefit of any other government free coaching scheme, then he will not be eligible for this scheme.
